Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Student Success, Innovation, and Community Outreach HUB (SLHS HUB)
We launched in the Fall of 2021 with support from the College of Science and departmental leadership. Our purpose is to further student success, innovation, and community outreach initiatives through collaboration and partnership. Our initiatives and programming are grounded in inclusive excellence, supported by the core values of Humility, Understanding, and Belonging. This mindset and approach affirms the humanity and worth of every individual. We believe that for a community to thrive, we must integrate and honor the diverse talents that all members have to share.
The SLHS HUB focuses on relationships and connection. We host and facilitate student events, provide one-on-one career/professional mentoring, and information about campus and community resources. Do you have a question about our department? Have you just moved to Tucson and want to learn about our favorite restaurants? Would you like to learn about basic needs assistance? "I am Dr. Wong, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Audiology in our department. I have mentored students for over 15 years and am alum of our program.
