Lauren Mann (M.S. ‘21 & B.S. ‘19) and Taylor Madsen (M.S., ‘21) received a promotion as co-lead speech-language pathologists at a pediatric multidisciplinary private practice in San Diego, CA. Their role as “Site Mentor Clinicians” at their prospective locations involves creating/updating clinical protocols, implementing weekly staff trainings, answering clinician questions, facilitating communication with management, creating clinical resources, and much more. It makes them fulfilled to provide daily support to other speech language pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists. Lauren and Taylor are also fulfilling their dream of working as SLP’s to improve children’s quality of life with their communication skills. They share that UArizona's SLHS program prepared them to be strong clinicians, leaders, and researchers in the clinical world. Part of their promotions involved Lauren and Taylor moving to separate sites, but on the weekends they enjoy spending time together exploring San Diego’s beautiful beaches and great eats!
